How Does The Aluminium Pole Set Work? It works just like the Wooden Pole Set. The main difference is that the Aluminium Pole Set has pre-drilled holes ready for you to attach your Carabiner Set to. Once the carabiners are connected, you’re ready to connect the Aluminium Poles to the clamps on the tent itself (or the loops, if you’ve selected a stretch tent with loops), and to either the Strap & Buckle Set or the Rope & Ratchet Set (depending on which you have chosen).   Aluminium Compared With Wooden Pole The final step is to connect the sealing cap at the top of the pole (to close it off from water) and a pole foot at the base (to give it grip).
